Dasher's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dasher's Story...
Dasher is a delightful little fellow. About 45 or 50 pounds of sweetness. Loves to cuddle. Affectionate. Energetic and playful but not hyper. Well trained in the house. He was surrendered to a high kill shelter by his owners because they were supposedly moving. He gets along well with other dogs after initial introduction. Fine with well behaved children. Will be a delightful companion in any lucky home. He is healthy and up to date on all veterinary care . Note we do require a security fence yard for all dog adoptions and no shock collar systems.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Bernese Mountain Dog for sale in Mount Gilead, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Bernese Mountain Dog dog from a breeder in Mount Gilead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Gilead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Gilead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
