My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bodean was found under a bush where he and his siblings had been dumped as small puppies. They had Parvovirus and though one was lost, Bodean and his brother Sawyer were survivors. They have been with us ever since and have been patiently waiting for a home of their own. Bodean is a tall lean dog with a sweet personality. He has a HUGE hound voice so is not suitable for a living situation where he might disturb the neighbors but he is not a constant barker. A rural home is just the ticket for Bodean. Bodean has been doing some off leash hiking and would do well in a farm setting as he listens very well. He is somewhat shy but a big cuddle bug, he is going to grow into a very awesome dog that is very loyal. Hounds are known for their good temperament as family dogs and we think Bodean will make a good playmate and protector. Bodean is one year old and he really enjoys home life and laying at your feet once the playtime is over.

Bodean's adoption fee is $150 to help offset the costs of getting him all ready for adoption AND PURINA ONE HAS PROVIDED A GRANT TO BLACKDOGS RESCUE SO WE CAN REDUCE OUR ADOPTION FEES.
