From Boots' chewed ears and large size, you'd think you are looking at a tough street cat, but in reality he's a real pussycat. He did indeed live outside in a city salt yard with his sister Dora for most of his life, being cared for by the yard workers and volunteers. They were favourites of the city yard workers, and Boots would be allowed in their communal room in the winter to warm up.Sometimes he would jump into the truck with the workers, keeping them company. Sadly for the workers and volunteers, the yard was sold off and the cats ordered to vacate. Since then they have been staying in foster care, adapting to indoor life. In spite of Boots' rough life, he has adapted well to indoor living, has friendly manners and since he has his sister for company, requires very little attention. Boots and Dora would make great companions for anyone, but especially in homes where there is no one home for most of day, since they can keep each other company just fine.
Note: Double the purrs, double the fun! Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
