Jack's Story...
12-29-15 Jack is an adorable little boy. His person is giving him up because she has a new job traveling and is away too much now. He's a little sweetie. A little shy at first, but give him a little love and some treats and he's your best friend.
He's a little guy, around 14 lbs, has all vaccines, has been wormed and started on heartworm prevention. We are told he is house trained and he does fine when crated. Likes most or all other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Charlotte Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
