Ariel's Story...
Meet Ariel! Ariel is hoping 2016 is the year she finds furever. Sweet, gentle Ariel has been looking for furever since November 6th and we really don't want her to hit her two month mark at the shelter. Ariel came in as a stray to the shelter and although her owner was located, they opted not to come get her. :-( We are hoping Ariel finds a true forever family this time around. Ariel's best feature is how gentle she is. She tends to look a little hyper in her kennel, but once out, walks perfect on the leash, takes treats gently and is SO happy to just hang out near you. We had a hard time getting pictures of Ariel because she kept coming forward to be near us or even better, to climb in our lap. Ariel is friendly with new people and very loving. We think this girl will make such an amazing family/companion dog- could YOUR family be the lucky one that adopts Ariel?

You can visit 2 yr old Ariel in C building at the West Valley Animal Care Center at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx Az. Hours are from 11 a.m.. to 6 p.m. Mon-Fri and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat & Sun. Ariel's adoption fee has been sponsored and includes spay, rabies certificate and County license.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ariel, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
