Brody is a one year old, 10 pound, Chiweenie. He can be a little shy when meeting new people but will soon warm up and become your favorite snuggle buddy. Brody is great with other dogs, both large and small, he is comfortable with respectful older children 12+, and is quickly mastering the potty routine in his foster home. Brody is a quiet, yet active little guy and only barks when he really has something to say. He likes to play with toys but napping and lap warming are his favorite activities of choice. Brody is a perfect gentleman on leash and enjoys getting out for a stroll around the neighborhood to check things out. This wonderful little guy may have had a rough start in life but we know Brody will make an amazing companion to someone very special.

Our adoption fee for Brody is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming and best of all, lots of love and socialization in his foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody, a Irvine Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
