This young lady is brought to you by the letter "S": Sweet, sociable, silly, smart and sensational!!! Sadie is an absolute sweetheart who was pregnant and unclaimed at a high-kill rural pound where either one of those misfortunes can mean the end of the road. But Sadie's intelligence, her beauty and her golden temperament caught our eye and there was no way we could let her go. So she was fostered at a horse farm while she had her babies -- all 12 of them!!! -- and she was an awesome mom, raising them with the same intelligence, the same level of respect for people and loving spirit that she has. She's wagged her tail as each one has left for their homes, and now it's Sadie's turn:
We're certain that the family that opens their heart to Sadie is in for a lot of fun! She's a showstopper, happy, friendly and outgoing with a side of mischief that will keep you laughing. Sadie is one of those dogs with a winning combination of intelligence and personality which makes her such a fun dog to interact with, and she will thrive on a close relationship with her people. She gets along great with dogs and people of all ages and she's ready to make even more friends wherever she goes.
We think Sadie is mostly Catahoula, which means she has the intelligence, the beauty and the sense of humor to make a very entertaining and charming companion. She will do best in an experienced home that understands Catahoula's and their need for proper exercise and obedience -- no couch potatoes or apartment-dwellers for this girl! She's friendly and affectionate with everyone, she'll do anything to please and she's great in the car. She loves to run, and has made "chasing" a full-fledged sport: squirrels, chickens, horses (hey, she's in Arkansas!) are all fair game as far as Sadie's concerned. She doesn't do anything, but she does love to run after them! Sadie is a happy-go-lucky girl who is always ready to play - - you can see the spark in her eye in her photos!!
