Are you my special person?? I am looking for a very special person to be my human. My name is J.P. I'm a one-year-old male back cat and I came from horrible circumstances. I was abandoned, cold, sick (with a rare parasite which my vet had never really seen before!), and starving. My foster mom realized when she took me in that I was very sick. I threw up a lot. She could see from my throw up that I had been living on acorns and worms. (I hope that was not too much information for you, lol!) Yes, it was that bad. My foster mom took me into her home, and I immediately displayed my excellent litter box habits. She says she's never seen such good litter box habits...even when I was sick!! I even tried to do my throwing up in the litter box...just to be considerate. After a couple of rounds of medicine to kill those nasty, rare parasites called "lung worms", I am now ready for my forever home. I am still shy...but I come out of the closet for head rubs and brushings. I get along with other cats and kitties. In fact, the kittens kind of push me around. I was always last to eat until my foster mom stepped in to stop the bullying. I am also declawed. Please call my foster mom at 314-583-1534 to set up a meet and greet with me. Oh, yeah. I forgot to tell you...I have an ear tip b/c at first people thought I was feral, but when they got to know me, they realized I was just scared, not feral. I kind of like the ear tip...I think it gives me "street cred”.
