Spot's Story...
"Spot" is an adorable 4-month old male Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer mix puppy who was surrendered by his owner on December 30, 2015. This handsome little guy has a white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a darling (rather mischievous-looking face) with a distinctive brown 'eyebrow' above his left eye, a black button nose, and short floppy ears. "Spot" has a delightful personality and is full of playful puppy energy. He is a highly intelligent youngster who has quickly learned to sit on command and shake paws. "Spot" is love with the whole world and everyone/everything it :) He currently weighs 27 lbs. "Spot" stole the heart of one of our foster moms the very day he came to our shelter, so he didn't have to spend a single night in a kennel.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spot, a Marietta Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
