Connor's Story...
Connor came to us in October 2015. He likes long walks and friendly people. He and Dolly like playing tug of war when they go outside together. He is affectionate with the volunteers. He says, "I would love to have a forever home where I can count on those long walks I like so much and where I can live in a house instead of a run at FoSCA."

VET REFERENCE REQUIRED! You can adopt Connor for $100. This fee includes rabies shot, de-worming, DHLPP shot (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza & Parvovirus), and spay/neuter. For more information or to make an appointment to meet Connor, call Mary Gene at 912-531-5238.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Connor, a Sylvania Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Sylvania, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sylvania.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sylvania already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sylvania breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sylvania paves the way for another one to be saved.
