My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Airy--hear me roar! I march to the beat of my own drummer. I am a "character." So if you're looking for a cat who's like all the other cats out there, then just keep moving along, you've come to the wrong place. But--BUT!--if you're ready for the challenge of a lifetime, then read on! I was rescued as a starving kitten while searching for food on my own. Before long, they discovered I had an ear polyp, which is why I had no sense of balance. My foster mom took care of me until I was big enough to have the cranial surgery to remove that polyp, which procedure I survived--because I survive everything! But I still have the head-tilt caused by the polyp. Some people think it's strange, but they're wrong—my head-tilt is ADORABLE. Because I was disoriented for most of my early life (that friggin' polyp again), I'm not crazy about being picked up. I know you mean it affectionately--but, dude, it bugs me. I also have an overbite. It doesn't cause me any problems at all, though some people think it makes me look goofy. They're wrong. I look ADORABLE. To be candid, I don't get along that well with other cats--they think I'm weird and don't like me, which stresses me out. This is totally THEIR LOSS. So I would prefer to be the only cat in my permanent home. Also, I can be fussy about some things, such as placement of my litter box, what sort of dry kibble you serve, and whether I think that bag of bagels on the counter might go to waste if I don't immediately tear it open and eat it. However, despite these little foibles, I like people a lot--people are the BEST, and the more the merrier, as far as I'm concerned. If you think you might be interested in becoming my permanent people, my foster mom would be happy to answer all your questions about me, and she'll be pleased to arrange a visit for people with an approved adoption application.
All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on shots, combo tested negative for FIV/Leukemia and microchipped.
