Airy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Airy's Story...
Airy is an eight-month old short-hair domestic male, neutered and all shots up to date, Airy is outgoing, playful, full of curiosity, and very social. He loves people and gets along with other cats. He would probably do well with kids and dogs (though his foster home doesn't have them). Airy survived ear-polyp surgery in December and is fully recovered, though he still carries his head at a slight tilt--but this is just an old habit now, and may keep diminishing over time. Airy is a little guy with a big appetite and a big zest for life. He's become expert at helping his foster mom host dinners and parties, and he'd love to bring these skills to his permanent home and help you, too!
All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on shots, combo tested negative for FIV/Leukemia and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Airy, a Covington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Covington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Covington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covington paves the way for another one to be saved.
