Larkin's Story...
Meet Larkin. About 4 years or so ago Larkin wandered up to the home of a very sweet woman who took him in when he made it plain that he was going to stay. She had other dogs at the time and he got along fine with all of them. As the years passed, Larkin ended up being the only dog as the others passed on and now his mom has had to go into a nursing home which does not allow pets. Larkin is as sweet as they come and really really wants another home to call his own. We believe that he may be a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. Larkin is looking for a home where he will be an inside dog with either a fenced in yard or walks on a leash. He would love to be your loyal companion for many years to come. Do you have a spot in your heart for him? If you are interested in Larkin please go to our website at www.tysorvet.net and click on the adoption tab. There you will find a link to the adoption application. Larkin's adoption fee is $150. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, tested for heartworms, on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Larkin, a Siler City Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Siler City, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Siler City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Siler City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Siler City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Siler City paves the way for another one to be saved.
