My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The foster parents wrote this about Mitsy:

Mitsy is housebroken, up to date on her vaccines, spayed, crate trained. She is a very pretty, approximately 2year old, 55lbs healthy, black lab (mix).

Live, Love, Wag...and much is her M.O.!

Mitsy was an owner surrender: a couple of weeks before Christmas her family 'couldn't afford' her and left her at a high kill shelter. Mitsy is well socialized. Her perfect leash manners came naturally, so did her beautiful personality.

Luckily, Mitsy was saved and is enjoying a few fun filled weeks in her new foster home on her way to her furrrever home. Her #1 wish is a pet parent who loves her more than she can love him! A pet parent who may google: 'Help, I love my dog too much!' Her #2 wish is a dogpark membership, or a place where she can run around and be free. Mitsy will do well off leash after she bonds and listens to her new dedicated pet parent. Being a classic beautiful black lab, she will be a snap to train a bit more: stay, down, get back, and drop-it are probably the key commands she still needs to fine tune, but she has learned to shake for treats! She is very easy and low maintenance; she is a lot of fun to be with and mostly a calm pup. After her initial excitement and fanfare of greeting and jumping up and down, she will be happiest in your company, day and night. She travels very well and associates the car with fun times and walks all over town now. Mitsy has excellent patio restaurant manners; she has learned all about bringfido.com from foster mom and hopes to come along on weekend jaunts and doggie vacays! Foster mom thinks that the person who will adopt Mitsy will be lucky to have such a beautiful, easy, and sweet dog!

Of course, Mitsy is great with other dogs, kitties, children, parties, people, anyone, anywhere! The more the merrier... but she ultimately is happiest with you by her side!

Come by to meet Mitsy in person and become her lucky new pet parent!

Mitsy has a cute gait too, like a little horse...
She is motivated by companionship more than toys or play. She is not dominant/alpha.
She can be trusted on her own; she's not a chewing pup. No need to crate her all day and all night!
She is not a yard barker, doesn't bark at other dogs on her walks,
She does get frisky when she sees squirrels...
