My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"My name is SKYLAR, and I'm a very well-behaved sweetheart who wants to give you lots of love. I'm a pit bull mix who's two years old, and I'm a medium-large sized gal at around 55 pounds...a nice size to be your happy house dog. I want you to know that I get along very nicely with everybody, whether it's a person or another dog. I'd do best with dogs who are on the larger side. If you ask me to sit, I'll obey your command immediately. If you want to give me a treat, I've been taught to lie down before you give it to me. I've been quiet here at the shelter, too. I'd be an excellent addition to your family, and it will be my mission to bring you happiness. I'd like to have a yard in my new home, along with a comfy dog bed in the house so that I can spend time with you. Like most dogs, I'll want to get daily exercise, so maybe we can take walks and explore the neighborhood. Or maybe we could hike together around the lovely San Diego trails. As long as I'm spending time with you, I'll be happy. Please come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter so we can spend some time getting better acquainted out in the nice play yard that they have here. You'll see that I'm a very good girl who wants to put some joy into your heart. Love, Skylar"
