Cliff's Story...
Cliff is an awesome dog. His original rescuer writes: We spent a week together while a friend and I tried to locate his family, who never did come forward to claim him. Poor guy is abandoned but we don't know why. He is playful, loves to cuddle, and is very smart. Cliff is also eager to please. He could be a bit opinionated at times, but was never destructive or aggressive in any way. Cliff is pending neuter surgery but it will be completed before adoption.

Adoption fee is $150. Our adoption process and an application can be found on our website www.carolinahelpingpawsrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cliff, a Sumter Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Sumter, or seeking a Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Sumter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sumter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sumter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sumter paves the way for another one to be saved.
