My name is Cowboy!

American Pit Bull Terrier Mix Dog for adoption in Pennsville, New Jersey - Cowboy

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Cowboy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Cowboy's Story...
Cowboy is the teachers pet at the shelter! He is calm and quiet and greets everyone with a smile. We are amazed that he did not get reclaimed as he is very obedient and walks well on a leash. He is medium to low energy and enjoys car rides as much as walks. He rides "shotgun" very well, calmly sitting and looking out the front window.
Cowboy likes to chase small furry creatures so no cats for this guy.
To meet Cowboy or any of our other adoptable pets, please contact our shelter to set up an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowboy, a Pennsville American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Pennsville, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Pennsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pennsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pennsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pennsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
