Bentley was born 7/1/2015.  Not only is he Gorgeous - He is Loving!  This boy is so sweet, he will steal your heart.

Bentley is curious and is very loving.  He can certainly purr like no other cat!  Bentley can be playful but is mostly a calm and laid back cat!

However, he is currently testing positive for FIV.  However, Bentley is PAWSITIVELY Adoptable.  Sometimes we can get a false positive only for them to test negative in a month or two.  We will be testing him again to see if his status has changed.

If Bentley does not, 'not to worry', FIV kitties can live a long normal life. They can only infect other cats with deep puncture wounds or by breeding.

Bentley is a lover - not a fighter, and breeding has never been an issue with him and now that he is neutered he will certainly never be interested in the girls except to play chase with.

There are many households with both non-FIV and FIV cats living together with no one else ever being infected.

About Paws Animal Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Paws Animal Rescue, Inc. is an ALL VOLUNTEER Non Profit, 501-C-3 Organization that began in May 1999 in Alvin, Texas. All funds received (donations and adoption fees) are used directly to the benefit of the animals. There are NO paid employees at Paws Animal Rescue. Paws is a TARPA (Texas Acceptance and Release Program) Certified Organization. Please remember “UNTIL THERE ARE NONE, ADOPT ONE”.

Paws saw the need to rescue adoptable cats and dogs at animal control facilities where the holding days can be as little as 3 to 5 days. Paws never adopts a pet until it has been completely vetted and most importantly spayed and neutered. We network with all shelters with lists of available cats and dogs. If we do not have what they are looking for we find someone who does.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Paws does the majority of adoptions through Applications submitted on our Website at .
We have an application process which is designed to find the best home for a particular pet. Paws assists with humane education and low cost spay and neuter information. We do not have a shelter. All our adoptable pets are placed in individual foster homes until adopted sometimes taking months. None of our adoptable pets are euthanized to make space.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Fees start at $100.00 and depend on the pet. Some have had extensive surgeries and rehabilitation. We have an application/Contract process. We do an In Home visit, especially with hard to place pets. We will need a vet and 2 other references. We can arrange a private appointment with the foster if desired.
