Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pammie is amazingly smart and picks up on training very quickly. In a matter of two days she has learned to sit, and lay down. The foster is currently working on the command stay and kennel training. Pammie is doing GREAT at potty training, she can go approximately 2 hours at a time right now before having to go out. She sleeps in a crate next to her fosters' bed, and is crated while they are away. She is doing great at crate training and has had no accidents and sleeps through the night! Pammie is a very gentle dog. She is great with kids of all ages, dogs, cats (she really wants to play with them, so she will whine and cry to get their attention!), and walks excellent on a leash! No pulling, no tugging, just wants to be by your side. She is still a puppy, very inquisitive of her surroundings, sounds, and loves lots of toys, bones, and most of all her dog bed! She is good with not getting on the furniture, she would rather lay on her bed and chew her toys. Pammie is very, very, food motivated which is a wonderful thing as it makes training fun and easy! All we can say is she is going to make a family very, very, happy. We really enjoy her!!!!!! Pammie is estimated to be about 1 year old and weighs about 23 pounds. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.
All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis. If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday January 23, 2016, at Fetch Delivers Warehouse, 783 Harding St. NE. Suite 150, Minneapolis, MN 55413, from noon - 2 pm. Occasionally dogs cannot make it to the Meet & Greet, therefore feel free to verify if your dog of interest is able to attend. Please bring a copy of your pre-adoption application.
