My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Jax.
I am a handsome guy with one blue eye and one brown eye.

I am a male mixed Great Dane, who is 9 months old. My coat coloring is harlequin with merle patches.

I weigh 82 lbs and my foster momma says that I’m a Dane in a smaller package. Don’t listen to her because I am convinced that I’m the same size as my Dane foster canines!

But do listen to my foster momma on everything else because I concur with her. Here are what she has to say about me ——-

Jax is a very active puppy who loves to play with his Dane foster brothers. One of Jax's favorite games is to play chase. He would be best with another large dog that is very playful.

Jax is smart. He knows sit, shake, down, and can crawl across the floor when tempted with a treat.

Jax is a little shy in new situations but warms up quickly. Jax will bark at people who come to visit but if they ignore him he will give them a through sniffing then ask them to pet him.

He loves toys and tearing up toys. His new home definitely needs a continual supply of toys to keep him occupied.

Jax willingly jumps into the bath tub for his baths.

Jax is working hard at staying off furniture but will forgets this rule frequently. He is happy to lay on a dog bed or just the floor when reminded he is not allowed on furniture.

When Jax first arrived to foster care he would guard his food. He has gotten much better about this. In his new home he should be watched at first with his food.
