A.. Roscoe's Story...
Hi, I'm Roscoe and I've been through a lot in my short life. I was living outside with a large group of cats competing for food and shelter. The neighbors didn't like having so many cats around and decided that shooting us would be the easiest solution. Several of the cats I lived with didn't make it out, but I along with two other kittens were saved. It was just in time, because we were all very sick when C2CND rescued us and our foster mom worked day and night to keep us alive. I've learned even though there are some very bad people out there, there are also some amazing ones as well. I now know what it feels like to have a full belly, a warm bed and to play with toys. I have even learned how to purr and love to be cuddled! Life is so good now and the only thing I'm missing is a family to call my own. Could it be with you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A.. Roscoe, a Charlotte Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
