Lindy's Story...
Lindy: 7 year old female Golden Lab

Weight: 86 lbs

Lindy is a 7 yr old female Golden lab that weighs 86 lbs. This is a wonderful dog that would be an excellent companion for a lucky someone out there. She can be left loose in the country to run and play and responds when called back home. She has lived with other dogs and cats as well as older children. Walks and one on one time are her favorite parts of the day. Lindy can be quite strong so be ready for that but she can make most people smile and she likes to have visitors so come say hello.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lindy, a Park Rapids Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Park Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Park Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Park Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Park Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Park Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
