My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 8 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 65 lbs
Variety: Bench

Buddy is a gentle giant. He is truly one of the kindest and sweetest boys you will ever meet. His foster family has never known a more mellow and loving Springer. Buddy is housetrained and crate trained. He does just fine in the house when his foster family is gone. He doesn't jump up on furniture, but he will accept help up if it is offered, and he will then cuddle for a little while. After that, he will climb down and nest on his blanket or pillow.

Buddy is very easygoing. He can live with dogs and cats, but he is also content to be by himself. He is a true Velcro dog who stays close to his people as well as the resident dogs. Buddy knows his basic commands. He enjoys playing in the yard with his foster brothers or even exploring on his own. One of Buddy’s favorite activities is going for a walk around the neighborhood, during which he will enjoy all the smells and smile at everyone who passes!

Although Buddy could shed a few pounds, he is a very healthy boy. He takes medication twice a day to prevent seizures.

What lucky family would like to adopt this calm and obedient Springer? Buddy has soulful eyes and will listen intently to the stories you tell him, and he will enjoy the scratches and pets you give him. Could you be the one Buddy is waiting for? If you think so, please contact his case managers at the e-mail address below right away!

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Buddy.
