Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mufasa
EDOB 9/26/15
Male Cream Maine Coon Mix
Don’t I look like the king of the pride, with my long, majestic coat and golden-green eyes? No wonder I’m so popular with the other kittens and even with the family dog.
That mark in my ear? A mistake. Humans make them all the time. Someone thought I looked so much like a lion that I’d want to live in the wilds of a feral colony. Not!
And my tail? Yes, it is a bit shorter than the usual, about three inches long, and for reasons unknown there are those--humans again--who call my “stump” the most charming thing about me.
So maybe they can’t match my wisdom, but one great thing about humans is that they have laps, and when I’m not busy jumping and playing with my friends, I often have a mind to snuggle. I have heard myself called a “purr bucket,” which doesn’t sound altogether dignified but which, I’m told, is a compliment.
Enough about me. Let’s talk about who’s going to get to take me home. It doesn’t matter to me if you are single or a couple or a family, but if you have kids, they have to have good manners, and they have to understand that leaving a window or door open is a no-no. Other cats in the house would be nifty, especially another kitten or young cat who is ready to play. A dog would be fine too, provided that he or she gives me the respect I require. My magnificent coat will need a daily brushing, which I tolerate with grace, and of course I’ll want a healthy diet and lots of attention.
I am microchipped and up-to-date on shots and tests.
My foster home is in the Sacramento area.
