Lennon's Story...
Hi, I'm Lennon! My brother and I were found under a car on New Year's Day. We are very friendly and loving little boys, so the nice lady took us inside and contacted St. Francis for help. Yippee, St. Francis had a foster home waiting for us! We are having the time of our lives, playing in the foster room and climbing on our cat tower. My foster mommy says we are two of the absolute sweetest kittens she has ever fostered - and she has fostered a lot of kitties!! I hope our black fur color doesn't make it hard for us to find a home. We are just like mini black house panthers, just waiting to come be part of someone's family. Give us a chance and we will purr our way right into your heart. <3 Love, Lennon

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lennon, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
