Theo's Info...

Theo's Story...
Sometimes life just isn’t fair! I’m sure that is how little Theo felt when he was picked up on that lonely country road. We don’t know why he was running, but we are sure glad Theo ended up with Rocket Dog Rescue!

Theo is about 2-3 yrs old, 14 lbs and is extremely shy. He needs a very patient home with another dog who can help build Theo’s confidence. He enjoys the company of other dogs but we have not seen him with cats. He would be best in a home with adults and older children. He would benefit in a home where he gets consistency and boundaries while he’s settling in.

If you are interested in adopting Theo, please submit an adoption application (found online at www.rocketdogrescue.org) and a volunteer will contact you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Theo, a San Francisco Miniature Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Poodle for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Miniature Poodle dog from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Poodle breeders who help with Miniature Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
