for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Fiona's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Fiona's Story...
Fiona is a pretty and petite, red, 3 yr. old dobergirl. Obedient with excellent manners in the home, she is crate trained but hasn't needed crating while in foster care. Fiona is sweet and wants to be close to her people, but isn't overly demanding and clingy. She loves to sit so close to her foster mom that she is practically in her lap, just to be near in case she might be needed! This is a smart dobergirl who is not a "starter" dog and will do best with Dobe savvy owners. Like any princess, Fiona can be choosy about sharing her castle with other canines, preferring to be an only dog. No cats, please. Fiona has high prey drive and will need a fenced yard to keep her safely at home. Come and meet princess Fiona at our next adoption event!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Columbus Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
