Nile's Story...
Hi my name is Nile and I'm about 4 months old. Right now everyone thinks I'm a Catahoula mix, but I'm a little too small for that. Did you know that Catahoula dogs are well known for their colorful coats and captivating eyes, but they have other interesting physical traits you may not notice on first glance. For example, they have webbed feet? I've been told I'm very sweet and I have super soft downy fur.

I like to spend my free time playing with humans and other dogs. I think I get along best with kids older than 10 because sometimes I get a little shy. I require a fully fenced in yard (non-electric because I think I would run right through it if I see a squirrel) so I can run around and play. I really hope you like my pics and how I described myself. I'd really like a home of my own soon and I can't wait to meet you.

Our dogs have an adoption fee that ranges from $375-$500. Please contact Suzanne at yellowbay1@gmail.com. To ensure our pets go to the best possible homes, we are only able to adopt within a 30 minute drive of Westwood, NJ unless we have a representative in your area to complete the home inspection.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nile, a Westwood Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Westwood, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Westwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
