My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smiley will be at adoption event this Sunday February 21 at Petco in Southington from 11-3pm. Come down and meet him

Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love. - Mother Teresa
And smile she did...big and bright for all the world to see. No matter that she had just been dumped by the only people she had known. No matter that she was in a small scary cage surrounded by scary sounds....she smiled. And so it was that Smiley was given her new name and she went on to win the hearts of all who met her. Smiley had the beauty, grace, and personality that got her noticed by rescue and landed her into a loving foster home. Smiley is a gorgeous 2 year old cream and tan Black Mouth Cur/ Coonhound mix weighing 45 lbs. She is in a word...precious. Smiley is all the wonderful fun loving things we love in a forever friend. She is friendly and loving towards all she meets, people and fur friends alike. She is very respectful of her feline companions even if they put her in her place for being (in their opinion) an annoying dog just having fun. This darling girl is already house and crate trained. She would make a great companion to an active family who enjoy swimming, camping, hiking or running. She loves activity but is very much in tune with indoor behavior where she knows it is time to settle down and relax. Smiley is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. She is ready to move on to her loving forever home where she will be a constant ray of sunshine in some lucky family's life. Smiley is sure to turn every frown upside down and bring years of joy and millions of smiles into your world.
