Kobe's Story...
Kobe is a sweet boy with a sad story. His owner was living in very poor conditions, so Kobe ended up in a foster home. Unfortunately, they could not keep him. He is about seven years old, but still likes to play and be adorable! He is a dignified older man and does not like to be quickly handled or being too pushy. Kobe would like a home where he can get all the lovin' in the world, something he truly deserves!

For more information on Kobe, call AWS at 860-354-1350 or visit us during adoption hours (Tuesday from 11a.m until 7 p.m and Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) Adoption fee for dogs is $275 and puppies ( 6 months and under) are $325.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kobe, a New Milford Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
