Gino's Story...
Meet Baby Gino!
Gino was found as a stray in Valencia County by Animal Control with his neck caught in a fence. Poor little Gino was in obvious pain, screaming out for help.
One of our foster/volunteers was at the shelter shortly after his intake and swooped LittleG up and took him straight to VCA. Turns out, Gino was only suffering from inflammation of his jaw joints and is a'ok!! After some TLC in his wonderful SWARF foster home, Gino is available for adoption! He is as sweet as they come. At 12 weeks old (DOB 10/14/15), he knows sit, he's 90% housebroken and is kennel trained. Gino is our wild-child and will need a k-9 playmate to show him the proper ropes. Gino would benefit from a home with structure and solid guidelines for him to learn and follow. Gino lovesssss kisses and although he's sometimes a little sassy, he's the most precious snuggler of them all! For inquiries on Gino, please email swanimalrescuefund@gmail.com!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gino, a Corrales German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Corrales, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Corrales.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corrales already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corrales breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corrales paves the way for another one to be saved.
