Posh is a petite girl with golden eyes that look straight into yours asking if you will be her friend. She will greet you gently when you come to say hello and lets you know just how much she loves pets and human attention.
Left to fend for herself, Posh was brought into the shelter when she was found wandering on B Avenue. Being in a scary new environment had her a little nervous at first, but staff and volunteers showed her that there was lots of TLC for her and she soon relaxed and trusted her human caregivers.
Other cats were a different story for Posh though. She just doesn’t know what to make of them and they frighten her, so Posh would do best in a home without another cat or with a gentle cat and a cat savvy human who can show her that another feline can make a great companion.
Posh loves interactive play and her favorite cat toys are those with feathers. She will entice you to play with her by rolling on her side and nuzzling at your hand.

You can meet Posh at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in adopting Posh, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.
