My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Visit Kiki at the Petsmart in Woodbury where she's currently in the adoption center. Ask a Petsmart Associate to open her kennel door so you can pet her and get to know her better. Talk to her also because that's how she gets to know you. :)

Kiki is a beautiful, affectionate sweetie with a thick, plush coat. She spent several years living outside in a feral cat colony (has a tipped ear) even though she is not feral. The colony caretaker mentioned that the cat isn't feral but friendly, so a SCRAM volunteer asked to foster her and find a lifelong indoor home for Kiki so she would not have to live outside through another long, cold winter.

It's unfortunate that Kiki had to live outside where she learned to be cautious. She gets along great with other cats, but she is cautious with people she doesn't know. Kiki is still learning to trust, but she loves to be petted and will roll on her back so you can pet her tummy; she purrs also. Kiki enjoys being petted, talked to, and also to play with wand toys. We think Kiki will blossom with a stable, livelong home and will probably adjust more readily to a quiet, small setting where she can feel more secure. Kiki is looking for a special adopter who can empathize with her and try to understand what she has gone through.

Kiki has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and is estimated to be 2-3 years old.
