Frieda's Story...
At first, Frieda is a little on the shy side, but once she gets going, this gal's a real chatterbox! She'll greet you everyday near the door when you come in, and will immediately fill you in on the goings-on of the day: the bird that came too close to the window (a thrill a minute!), the dust bunny she found under the bed (IT WAS HUGE) and everything in between. Then, she'll show off for you with a cat scratcher or her favorite toy. When she finally settles in near you, rub her belly and fill her in on your day. She loves the companionship...and you will too. Frieda was born late spring 2015.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frieda, a Chicago Bombay cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Bombay cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
