Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I came to AWLMC from the Montgomery County Shelter. I was surrendered by my owner in September and quickly found a new home. Unfortunately I was returned. The lady that adopted me felt she adopted a cat too soon after the death of her previous cat. I was sad and scared and it took me a while to come around and be friendly. Luckily the AWLMC Intake Team saw me several times and finally decided I was a good candidate for the cat house in Gaithersburg. I am shy and take a while to warm up to people. Please give me a chance. I am a great cat once I am comfortable and I get to know you. I have silky fur and like to be petted. I have a long, puffy tail. I will join you while watching tv or reading; sitting next to you. I love to sit on cat trees and watch the birds and squirrels outside. I also am playful; my favorite toys are the feather wand, laser pointer and the cat nip filled carrot. It is a lot of fun to wrestle with! I do like the companionship of other cats as long as they are gentle with me. I am a quiet cat, looking for a calm home to call my own. Am I the one for you? I was born in 2011.
