Sylvee's Story...
Hi, my name is SYLVEE, and I am about 2 years old and about 10 lbs! If you google "Terrier characteristics," you will find that the first listing states, "Terriers are the rascals of the dog world. Their name comes from the Latin word terra, meaning earth, and references their love of digging for such prey as foxes, moles, badgers, and rats. Terriers come in a wide range of sizes and shapes, but they all share a feisty, mischievous personality and an energetic nature."

In addition to my inherent Terrier characteristics, you will find that I am the sweetest, friendliest girl. I adore other dogs and playing, and I'm good with children. I do need an active home and/or a home with another playful dog.

If you are interested in adopting me, please apply online at www.orphanannierescue.org. My adoption fee is $250, which includes my spay, shots, microchipping, and heartworm test (I am heartworm negative).

I am available for adoption in Georgia only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvee, a Atlanta Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Border Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Border Terrier for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Border Terrier dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Border Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier/Border Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
