Roman's Story...
This cutie is Roman, a very handsome 7 month old boy looking for his forever home. Roman was rescued in October and has needed a little time to learn how to trust people. He is very playful with lots of energy, loves his toys and catnip. He really loves being pet and played with, but is still learning that being held and sitting in laps is okay. He loves rubbing and 'head butting' and rolling over for belly rubs. Roman is still growing and will probably be a big boy when he's all grown up. He gets along well with other cats, and would do good with cat friendly dogs and older kids. Please call for more information on Roman. 509-684-1475
Suggested Adoption Donation: $35.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roman, a Colville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
