Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Miracle! Miracle is a sweet, loving, little kitten, with velvety soft fur and the most adorable little meow. She loves attention and lets you know by purring loudly. She's 4 months old and her favorite toy is her foster mom's smartphone, she can't keep her little paws off of it.
Little Miracle lives up to her name. In late October she was rescued from the middle of a highway in the pouring rain, starved nearly to death. Her rescuers took her home and nursed her back to health and since they usually foster for their local shelter, took her there when she was ready to find a home, certain that such an adorable little girl would be snapped up quickly. Unfortunately, Miracle tested positive for FIV in the shelter and found herself in need of rescue again. Buddies Place took her in and she's been happily living in foster care ever since.
FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is not a death sentence. Many cats live long, normal lives with the virus. And given her age it's very possible Miracle will test negative once she's had a chance to grow a little more. Kittens often test positive due to antibodies inherited from their mothers rather than actually having the virus.
