Riley's Story...
01-06-16 Riley is in a foster home now and coming out of his shell. He LOVES other dogs and we think he will be happiest with a home where there's another dog.
He also loves playing with toys and is working on house training.

01-04-16 Riley and his 4 brothers came from a rural home in NC. They are a little shy at first, but very anxious to be loved and petted. They try hard to please whoever is loving them. We think they are a mix of yellow lab, pit bull and boxer. The largest of these boys has an adorable under-bite. Hard to tell in the photos, but they also have beautiful hazel eyes.
They've had 1st vaccines, bordatella, have been wormed and started on heartworm prevention. They are around 16 weeks old.

Please go to our website and fill out an application

Our adoption fee $195 includes spay/neuter, parvo/distemper series of shots, rabies if dog is old enough, bordatello, heartworm preventative while here, worming, and microchipping.

We appreciate your patience as our volunteer-only team reviews your application and updates our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Charlotte Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
