Tom's Story...
This dashing young kitty is Tom, and he is almost 3 years old. He is very sweet, and loving boy. He loves to be rubbed, and get attention. He recently found himself looking for a new home when his pet parent passed away in December. He is currently being boarded at a vet's office until he can fine his new forever home. He would like to find a new home as soon as possible so he can stretch his legs more, and reign over his new kingdom.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application on our web page at: http://www.adoptapet.com/tinytigersrescue/ or email us at keeping_faith526@yahoo.com if you have additional questions. Adoption fee is $75. All of our cats receive routine vet care, are fully vaccinated and spayed/neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom, a Mt. Airy Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mt. Airy, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mt. Airy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Airy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Airy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Airy paves the way for another one to be saved.
