Meet beautiful Toffee! This adorable chocolate brown puppy is ready to steal your heart and become part of your family!
Toffee is a 6 lb, 6 mo old puppy who just loves to play and loves her people. She likes toys and she still enjoys some puppy chewing. She has a medium energy and should be good with mature children. She can be a little shy at first and will run away to a safe spot but once she warms up to you is a real sweetheart. She is not a big barker but will voice her opinion along with the others if she thinks that's what she is supposed to do!
Toffee plays well with the other dogs and if no one will engage her she doesn't have any problem trying to encourage them to play with her. She likes to bounce at and nudge them in their ribs to get them to pay attention. She likes to play tug of war with them too.
Toffee did not have a good start in life. The people who asked us to take her in to our program, actually witnessed someone throwing her in to a sewer drain. At the time she was only about 3 mos old. They fished her out and kept her safe until we could get her in our program. But you would never know she was "discarded" by the way she shows her love.
Toffee is very smart. She is doing very well with the housetraining, she is crate trained, and learning to walk on a leash. Toffee would love nothing more than to find her forever family!!
Toffee is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $225 adoption fee required. .
