My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.

NAME: Lily
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: About 6 Months
WEIGHT: About 5 pounds
DOGS/CATS: Loves other dogs, Unsure on cats
CHILDREN: Will be great with children

Meet sweet Lily – a 5lb expressive bundle of energy and joy. Lily is about 6 months old and came to CRT at a very young age when found living in not so great conditions with her little brother. She fit in great with her foster family right away and loves to play with her foster brothers & sister. Her foster daddy says she has two speeds, Fast & Stop. During the day she loves to play with toys and will take them outside & sunbathe when the weather is nice. Her favorite thing to do is pull the covers off her foster sister until she gets her up and then its play time with the two of them running through the house and out into the yard. Then it’s a quick power nap, to get their second wind. At night when she settles down, she likes to cuddle & snuggle under the covers & would love to sleep in the bed with you if you let her. Once she settles down for the night she is out until morning.

She is very smart and taught herself how to go out the doggy door the first day. She will go on the pee pad if she needs to. She is very expressive when you talk to her and we believe she understands everything you are saying to her. She will look at you with one ear up and one ear down and study your expressions.

Lily would do best in a home with at least one other energetic playmate and would be great with children. Remember that small dogs tend to live 15 - 18 years, so Lily has many great years ahead.

Lily is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
