My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Francine is a brown/white Chihuahua mix who weighs about 11 lbs. She is 3 years old. She has had puppies and has just weaned them so now that her pups have gone off to their forever home she is ready for her own new family. Her temporary foster mom says she is a joy to be around. She is super smart and very affectionate. She is fine about being alone, sleeps through the night, lets you know when she wants to go out and is friendly, cuddly and very affectionate. Francine is housetrained, loves her walks, doesn't bark and lives for massages and belly scratches. She is good with other dogs but needs some work on the leash. She seems to care for people more than other dogs. Francine has some fear issues around loud noises or people coming up suddenly behind her. She is a big cuddler and is pretty much low energy except for walk time. She gets really excited about her walks. When she is not walking, she’s a real lap dog and a cuddle bunny. This little sweetheart is looking for her forever home.
