Meet handsome Cream Puff! He is a very special cat - he has a disorder called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) CH is a non-progressive neurological disorder - meaning it will never get worse but never get better. It does appear to improve as kittens grow into adults because they learn to adapt and compensate and they also get stronger as they get older. CH is most commonly caused by the mother being exposed to a virus called panleukopenia while pregnant and the result is that the part of the brain that controls motor skills is under-developed. CH is also known as Wobbly Kitten Syndrom because of the wobbly "drunken sailor" strut these kittens have. To learn more about CH, go to http://chcat.org/about-ch-cats/.

Cream Puff loves to be held and is very, very sweet. He is also playful - loves chasing jingle balls and anything else that moves when he is in his mood! We want Lacie and Cream Puff to be adopted together as the level of CH is very similar and they are very close. They are special cats who will need to go to a special home: the adoptive home must be carpeted because it will be easier for them to walk around. The main living area should be on one level as neither Lacie or Cream Puff will be able to go up or down stairs safely. Both Lacie and Cream Puff use the litter box, and eat and drink from bowls.
