Trina's Story...
Trina is a 4yr old dog rescued from our local shelter. She has finished her Heartworm treatment and is ready for adoption. She is house trained and crate trained. Trina is great with other dogs. Her breed mix is just a guess, but at 26 lbs. she is the perfect small/medium size. She is a slender dog with long legs and the cutest, most expressive ears. Her unique feature is a tail that's not quite normal length, but that doesn't stop it from fiercely wagging! Trina is adorable, sweet, friendly, and playful. Her idea of heaven would be having a fenced yard where she could chase balls or squirrels to her heart's content. Inside the house she entertains herself well by chewing on bones, playing with squeaky toys, or just curling up for a long nap. Trina is smart and quickly learned how to be an inside doggie (don't think she's been inside a house before). She is eager to please (especially if you have treats ?), and catches on quickly to new things, so further training should be a breeze. She does have a tendency to jump up when excited so a home with out small children would be best. Please fill out an adoption application at www.hs-uc.org

Trina, a Monroe Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Miniature Pinscher rescue.
