Molly's Story...
Rosie is an 11 year old spayed female red and white Border Collie/Chow mix. Molly is an 11 year old spayed female solid black Border Collie/Chow mix.
Molly and Rosie are a BONDED PAIR and will be adopted together. These two girls are very calm and love everybody they meet. They are well behaved and walk fairly well on leash. These girls are very quiet and would love a retirement home to call their own. These girls would probably be fine in a home with cats. They would also be fine in a home with dog savvy children. If these girls sound right for your family please come by the shelter and visit them today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Colonial Heights Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow for sale in Colonial Heights, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Colonial Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colonial Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colonial Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colonial Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
