Sully is a 5 yr old Pyrenees/Akita mix male that came to GPRO after going unclaimed by his owner at an Okla. shelter. Sully was picked up by animal control after being struck by a car; luckily xrays showed nothing is broken just sore and bruised.
Sully has now been learning all the great things about being an indoor family dog at his foster home for about four weeks. He is very sweet and submissive, he wants affection and reassurance but lacks confidence and can be unsure and timid sometimes. With patience, leadership and love he has made great improvement and is now house trained, going on leashed walks, doing well with being groomed, he crates fine, and learning he is safe & can trust his foster family. Sully loves his dog buddies and they have really helped him come out of his shell; he likes all dogs of any size, age and gender, and he is also cat safe.
Sully is looking for an indoor/outdoor home with a quiet family (preteen and older kids would be fine) that can continue helping him feel safe and sound. He such a sweetheart & has all the potential in the World to be someone's loyal best friend, he just has a lot of bad memories of being treated badly to put behind him.
Sully is neutered, hw neg, fully vaccinated, dewormed, utd on his monthly prevention meds and microchipped.
