My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petey, Petey, pile of mush......pet him on the head and he'll wiggle his tush! Petey is truly a big mushy boy that just loves life and everyone in it. He's only about 3 years old and came to us from our Newark facility when he was found wandering around as a stray with another dog, Jae. They just couldn't be happier to be safe and sound and began making friends as soon as they stepped off the transport van. Petey is a real social butterfly and when he meets you for the first time, he acts as if he's known you his whole life and like you're his long lost best friend. Someone gave Petey some training because he is well behaved and very polite. He will sit nicely when asked and even though he is strong, he is very good on a leash. He is playful and fun loving too, so Petey would love an active home where he'll get exercise and playtime. He gets along just fine with most dogs he meets and was very playful with his friend Jae, though he did tend to be the dominant one. Petey is ok with cats, but will bark at them and be a little afraid of them. He just adores people and would make a bright and happy addition to any good family. File#25823 11/2/15
