Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE READ THE FULL BIO FOR ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS! Damien is one of eleven puppies from our "nightmare litter" and was born on 20 Oct 2015. We almost lost this little man due to an umbilical cord bleed, but thanks to our great vet and wonderful fosters, he pulled through and is thriving! Their momma, Salem, is a wonderful dog and has given these pups a great start in life. These puppies will do great in any home, including one with kids, cats and other dogs. Damien is quite a snuggler! He is pretty mellow and loves to follow the other resident dogs around to explore and play! He loves everyone he meets!
We send our puppies out to their foster homes in pairs to continue proper dog etiquette and social skills on top of what their foster families guidance, structure and love. They are learning all about crate training, potty training, leash skills and basic manners, including sit. It will be on the new family to continue what we have started, as they are babies and still learning and will need time to adjust to their new family's schedule. A current dog or previous terrier/working breed experience is required.
Damien is ready for preapproval! They will all be spayed and neutered in mid January and will be ready to go home soon afterwards. Once approved, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $250 at the time of the home visit. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.
ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER/ADOPTAPET CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those--only submitted applications will receive a response. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions, though rare, may be made on a case by case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
