Daphne's Story...
Let's not forget Daphne. This little girl unfortunately was beaten before coming to the Beauties family therefore she is shy of people at first but does warm up once she realizes you will not hurt her. She seems to be more shy of men then women but will warm up to men, just takes a little longer. She likes to play with cats she knows and ignores the others. She would do well in a home with another dog for confidence. She is not scared of kids just adults. She hates the cold and loves to sleep under the blankets. This is what her foster mom says about Daphne: 2yrs old now. Was pulled in March of 2015. She does alarm bark when you walk into the house but once she gets to know you she is fine. Out at showings she can be timid. She will need to do meet and greets with her foster when meeting potential adopters . Daphne is a great little pittie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Wichita Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
