Christine's Story...
PLEASE READ THE FULL BIO FOR ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS! Christine is one of eleven puppies from our "nightmare litter" and was born on 20 Oct 2015. Their momma, Salem, is a wonderful dog and has given these pups a great start in life. These puppies will do great in any home, including one with kids, cats and other dogs. Christine is a beautiful girl with lots of spunk. She's adventurous and bold and stubborn. Loves to explore and play and very much on the go. She enjoys snuggling once she finally settles. She can be bossy and is working on her manners. She is smart, vocal, happy, wiggly, and would love an active family who wants a dog to join in on the fun!

We send our puppies out to their foster homes in pairs to continue proper dog etiquette and social skills on top of what their foster families guidance, structure and love. They are learning all about crate training, potty training, leash skills and basic manners, including sit. It will be on the new family to continue what we have started, as they are babies and still learning and will need time to adjust to their new family's schedule. A current dog or previous terrier/working breed experience is required.

Christine is ready for preapproval! They will all be spayed and neutered in mid January and will be ready to go home soon afterwards. Once approved, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $250 at the time of the home visit. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.

ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER/ADOPTAPET CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those--only submitted applications will receive a response. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions, though rare, may be made on a case by case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Christine, a Dayton Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Dayton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Dayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
